Lilacs

I love lilac season!  Especially the years when the lilacs are in perfect form for Mother's Day.  I was able to present both my Mother and my Mother-In-Law with small bouqets of lilacs yesterday, and still put a spring on my kitchen table.  It is a bit sad that our lilac bush is in a hidden corner of the back yard behind the house, but we can still cut and bring them inside for a bit of spring lovliness.  Now if I would just do a bit better job of pruning them, maybe we'd have more lilacs next year!
