Wherein I attempt to look for the good things in life and recognize and remember God’s kindness to me. Sometimes I might pontificate a bit about other subjects, but really, the most important things all relate to God, his love for each of his children, and his plan for us.

A Little Dirt Never Hurt
Finally, an evening without previous obligations, rain, or cold. I spent several hours out in the garden tonight digging in the dirt and planting a few peas and carrots that I found in my stash of seeds. I was back in the house by 7pm as there was no longer enough light left to see what I was doing. But next week Daylight savings time begins, so I should have even more time to plant, as long as the weather and other obligations cooperate! I won't enjoy getting up in the dark again, but that won't last forever. Spring is on its way, and there's plenty of work in the dirt in store!
